Maybe you know her from «Nada,» her eff-off anthem with the cool Lil Yachty feature. Maybe you know her from her MBM fashion label — like her music, it’s on the come-up. Maybe you don’t know her at all. That’s gonna change. Leaf needs to be heard. The Brooklyn MC, who once sung opera and has been in a punk band, impresses instantly. The 21-year-old MC put her music on the Web at the age of 12, first hitting MySpace and then moving quickly to YouTube. A massive Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj fan, she’s always inspired by her heroes. When she got on the radar of Brooklyn’s Fool’s Gold label, things started moving fast. «Ride,» «Money,» «Plate» — her tracks get stronger and stronger. Her latest is «FWM (Lie To Me).»
